QUEENSLAND GOVT JOB ASSIST PROGRAM OPPORTUNITY
The Queensland Government recently announced a new JobsAssist program. HBA have been accredited to advise businesses in the Sunshine Coast Region on this program with funding up to $8,000 being available.
The aim of the JobsAssist program is based on the need to protect and create jobs while supporting industries by:

building businesses resilience in our traditional industries to moderate job losses

enabling new industries to emerge and create new jobs
-
ensuring industries are positioned for recovery
Who is entitled to funding?
Employers with 10 or more full time equivalent employees within targeted industries and localities are advised to apply. Funding is administered by The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovations (DEEDI) and there is $10M of funding available.
How is support staged?
Stage 1 - JobsAssist will provide up to $3,000 to targeted firms to obtain professional advice to understand the key issues confronting them and to develop a plan of action to address the issues.
Stage 2 - Up to another $5,000 may be provided to assist firms implement the plans created above.

HBA has developed a Business Fitness Review program which is aligned with the JobAssist objectives. Our Business Fitness Review is a ‘fitness’ assessment for your business. And just like your personal trainer, we will assess the overall fitness of the business and design a program that will ensure that it is in ‘good shape’ to compete with the best in the market.
Using our extensive business experience, HBA Accounting will work with the business owners and management in reviewing the key elements of the business that include working capital and human resource management, sales and growth strategies, competitor analysis and protection of intellectual property.
The assessment provides a holistic view of your business. It is an objective measurement of performance with clearly defined action plans to improve the performance and profitability of the business.
The Business Fitness Review and the advice from HBA directors and consultants who have a wealth of commercial and professional experience, enables you to easily find ways to maximise your business growth potential and the value of your business.
JobsAssist applications are typically taking about a fortnight to be approved, after which we will be in a position to proceed with the Business Fitness Review at no cost to you.
