Barry Hely is a Certified Practicing Accountant with over 40 years experience in providing business management and accounting advice. Due to his long standing association with CPA Australia, he has been honored with advancement as a Fellow of CPA (FCPA). Barry is also a registered auditor with the Australian Securities & Insurance Commission.
He purchased the firm in November 2005. Barry is involved in Rotary and when not attending meetings & functions, can be found enjoying life with his family.

Victoria Berry, B.Bus CPA JP
Victoria Berry is a Certified Practicing Accountant with over 12 years experience in providing business management and accounting experience to local businesses. Victoria graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor of Business and has undertaken post graduate studies to become a CPA. Victoria also has a Certificate IV in Training and is a registered Justice of the Peace. She joined the firm as a partner in June 2007. Victoria is involved in the Maroochydore SLSC where she is a life member. When not at the beach, she can be found spending time with her family of three young children.

Manager: Warren Dewbery, B.Bus CPA
Graduated in Bachelor of Business Accounting major 1986 from Nepean College of Advanced Education (now University of Western Sydney). Advanced to CPA status in 1992.
Worked in Sydney from 1981 to 1987 in various accounting positions in commerce and industry. Holding positions in cost accounting and management accounting fields. 1987 to 1991 worked in public practice in rural areas in NSW and QLD.
Returned to commerce and industry in 1991 to 1994, before opening own practice. Sole practitioner from 1994 to 2004, specialising in the smaller business client. 2004 to current working for medium sized firms managing clients in a diverse variety of businesses.
With background in commerce and industry I am able to do more than just compliance work (tax returns and BAS’s). I relate to clients on their level and don’t speak industry jargon to confuse them.

Lisa is one of our accountant’s within this practise, and has been here since July 2006. She has worked in public practice for 7 years and has lived on the coast for 23 years. She enjoys spending time with her teenage son and socialising and she is the first aid officer of his football team.

He has owned and operated his own business for the past 7 years and has a wealth of knowledge in Small Business taxation. He has a Masters Degree in Technology Management. He has lived on the coast for the past 10 years and likes going boating and fishing with his family.

Phil has had more than 35 years experience in accounting and taxation in public practice and commercial operations. He has recently completed Certificate III in Financial Services.
Originally from Sydney, Phil moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2003 and now enjoys working part-time and perfecting his golf and tennis in his spare time.

Bookkeeper: Jenny Wallwork
Jenny is our expert in ASIC Corporate Services. She is also responsible for ordering and setting up of Companies and Trusts and also works with our Superannuation Funds. She has has been at this firm since December 2005. Jenny has been married for 20 years and has 2 lovely children, Hayden 12 and Shannen 16. She moved to the Sunshine Coast from Cairns in 2005. Her favourite past time is listening to music, enjoying a Chardy whilst cooking up a storm.

Admin Assistant: Amanda Salmon
Amanda has been a part of our firm’s administration team since August 2006 and has a Certificate III in Business Administration and is currently studying Certificate IV in Financial Services (bookkeeping).
She moved up from Bicheno, Tasmania in December 1999 and spends her spare time socialising with friends, practicing guitar and vocals, reading and keeping her cat Sarah company.

Admin Assistant: Kayte Ratcliffe
Kayte has been our receptionist since April 2005. Before she came to us she spent 10 years working in the printing/graphic design industry. She has recently completed her Certificate III in Financial Services.
Originally from central Victoria, she moved to Queensland in September 1994 and is now married, has one child and is expecting her next in November 2008. Kayte has done a lot of overseas travel and would love to do more, but at the moment is just enjoying spending time at home with her family.

Charles Godfrey is a
Chartered Accountant South Africa (CASA) and has had more than 40 years
professional and business experience. Charles retired as a partner of Deloitte
South
Africa in 2006 where much of his time was
focused on owner-managed businesses. Charles is a “below average” golfer, a
Rotarian and loves music and movies and dotes on his 3 grandchildren.
